Wife of ex-Florida Keys schools chief gets 8 years for theft

Monique Acevedo, the wife of ousted Monroe County Schools Superintendent Randy Acevedo, was sentenced Tuesday to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to stealing $413,000 from the school district while she was the adult education coordinator.
