Scientists worry current could carry oil to Keys

Despite BP siphoning some of the oil spewing into the Gulf of Mexico, worries escalated about the ooze reaching a major ocean current that could carry it through the Florida Keys and up the East Coast.

Miami man dies while spearfishing in the Keys
A 24-year-old Miami man died Monday afternoon while free diving and spearfishing about five miles off shore of Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said.
