Need Help Finding Someone Who Saved My Life 30 Years Ago?

30 years ago when I was a very rebellious teenager and at 17 I traveled with a friend from upstate New York to either fort lauderdale or Orlando Florida, I think it was fort lauderdale. She went inside a grocery store and was caught shoplifting. So I was stuck… I went next door to a pool hall and met a young guy name Marlin Maynard. I told him what happened and he said that I could come over to his house We hit it off, and he called me his girlfriend and next day or so we went to a bon fire out in the woods with his friends. Marlin started to look upset and we escorted me to use the bathroom in the woods. He told me his friends planned on raping me. I began to cry and he told me that if he had to pick up a big rock and crashing on their head he would prevent it from happening. (he was a small man and these guys were very muscular) We went back to the camp site that was many miles away from any civilization. they began to taunt me, and I was crying. Marlin had a plan he took his friends truck keys and told me to run in the cab of the truck when he signaled. We both ran in and he locked the doors very fast. They tried to roll the truck over and bash in the wind shield for what seemed like hours. The next morning his friend got in the truck at first daylight and we rushed out of there. We went to a gas station, I went to the bathroom. When I came out, Marlin and his friend left. But they put my shoes on the curb. Marlin was not driving so I am certain it was his friends decision. Marlin told me he was going to take me to Wyoming and we would get married, he was a sweet guy. I know I would have died that night if it were not for him. I am happily married but I just want to thank him for saving my life. I know its a crazy story believe me I am a much much much different person now. I became rebellious because my mom died suddenly and I blamed my dad for not taking her to the doctor. I found a Marlin Maynard that died on the social security index. But I do not know for sure if that was him. Please help it would mean so much to me.
